Steve Khayat, CFMP, CFM, is the Founder and Managing Director of Phoenix Venture Partners Limited. With more than twenty-two years of experience, he is a visionary leader who seeks out opportunities that others would overlook. As a strategist, he draws on the breadth of his experience in executive leadership, forging uncommon pathways that in turn lead to uncommon results.

Because of the extensive tenures that he has held at world-class organizations, he has accrued a singular know-how with regards to recognizing and pursuing investment opportunities. He sees, in short, what is possible with the best investments available—and then precisely what he and his team need to do in order to make the most of those investments.

Mr. Khayat is a trusted steward of complex and valuable resources. As an investment banker, he approaches his work with all the care and consideration for which they call. He has previously overseen more than $1.6 billion AUM, and he has achieved more than $6 billion in IB deals.

Faris Al-Obaid, M.A., is the Co-Founder and Director of Phoenix Venture Partners. He is an entrepreneur and investor with more than twenty years of experience leading impactful, long-term projects. His service has extended throughout the MENA region, operating and contributing at the highest levels of impactful, fast-paced organizations.

Most recently, Mr. Al-Obaid was appointed Vice President and General Manager for Mastercard in Kuwait, spearheading the entity's establishment and strategic licensing. This follows a foundational four-year executive tenure at Tamara, the region's leading fintech unicorn, where he secured regulatory approvals across Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar.

A skilled organizer, he has navigated both the public and private sectors, transforming projects from concept to execution. At every step, he is cognizant of the details affecting the team and willing to take action. He has founded multiple organizations, and his creative thinking leads to improved productivity and engagement.

Mr. Al-Obaid imbues Phoenix Venture Partners Limited with structure and innovation that fit the fund's thesis perfectly. He is an early investor in multiple startups, including rising US ventures undergoing fast growth.

Dr. Mussaad M. Al-Razouki is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Phoenix Venture Partners. He is a seasoned analytical strategist and investor operating globally. With more than twenty years of experience, he has served in multiple executive roles, his most notable results coming in his business development work.

A scientific luminary as well as a great business mind, he is able to understand comprehensively the freshest and most promising new business concepts in medicine and technology. With his support, several high-profile funds and partnerships have expanded rapidly, one such fund even growing to encompass more than $1 billion in assets under management.
